arpit solanki

Hey, I'm Arpit. :)))

founding engineer at QuicShop. from a village in Uttar Pradesh. i pick up the problems nobody else has time for.

so far

  1. age 10A school computer book in English. Learned English that year so I could read it.
  2. 2016First computer: my uncle's old office PC, no internet. Learned every corner of Windows XP, modded GTA and Minecraft, played Pokémon on emulators.
  3. 8th gradeRead about a Java app in the newspaper's tech section. Learned Java on a phone.
  4. 10th gradeHTML and CSS. Building websites by the end of the year. Did some freelance work for a local startups.
  5. 2021–23JEE prep through COVID. Started a tech YouTube channel; my younger brother ran our gaming one. Didn't scale. We started creating founder led content under "The Internet narrative". I left that in sophomore year of college and now it is handled by a team of 5 people. My brother leads that now and they have made videos for companies like MicroAGI and CodeAnt AI (YC).
  6. 2023JEE Advanced, rank ~16,000 among ~1.2M , Didn't got into IIT, went to IIT Jais, Search google to find this IIT (lol). Started B.Tech CSE. Every hackathon I could find. Smart India Hackathon finalist.
  7. 2024–25Won the IEEE hackathon at college. Ran infra for an India–Russia BRICS hackathon, 15,000+ participants. PEcAn Project frontend. PM Young Achievers Scholarship. Started on Plone CMS.
  8. 2025Freelanced at AfterQuery (YC). Founded KD. Stayed in Delhi for Three months with law firms; ~10 became customers (followed YC's advise of talking to users :-) ). YC Startup School.
  9. 2026Wound down KD after ~7 months. Built Agent Yap. Joined QuicShop in June and signed up ~30 pilot sellers on day one.

I grew up on farms in a village of Uttar Pradesh. got my first computer in 2016, an old office PC with no internet, and learned most of what I know from YouTube and the internet.

Currently, I'm a founding engineer at QuicShop, an AI-native store builder for Indian sellers. I pick up the problems founders don't have time to hand out, whether that's code, sales, growth or infra.

tldr:

  • Founding engineer at QuicShop since June 2026
  • Founded KD, a legal AI startup. ~10 Delhi law firms as customers, YC Startup School
  • open source contributions in Plone CMS, worked there from Dec 2024 to Jan 2025
  • Ran infra for a 15,000+ person India–Russia hackathon
  • B.Tech CSE, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, 2023–27

The whole thing is in the long version. Bios for intros and forms are on the press page.
